There has been a buzz about Pooja Sharma playing the lead role in Maddam Sir season two. The Mahabharat actress, who was paired opposite Shaheer Sheikh, has not reacted to the rumour. However, gossip mills suggested that she might sign the dotted lines for the project.

Filmibeat had already informed our readers that Gulki Joshi won't be a part of Maddam Sir 2. She and Bhavika Sharma are not joining the show.

A reliable industry source earlier told Filmibeat, "The casting for Maddam Sir season 2 is currently underway. It has been confirmed that Gulki Joshi is no longer a part of the show. The makers are auditioning new actors for the sitcom which will return with a new season. While Gulki Joshi has not been retained in season two, the casting team has also not approached the original cast for the show. As Bhavika Sharma is busy with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, she will not be seen in Madam Sir 2."

Gulki Joshi has confirmed that she has not been approached for the new season of Maddam Sir. The actress, who played the role of Haseena, has spilled the beans about the upcoming installment. In an interaction with a leading daily, the Kal Subah Hogi actress said that the makers have not offered the show as of now.
