Mangal Lakshmi full cast: The wait is finally over. The first episode of Colors channel's newly launched show Mangal Lakshmi has premiered on Tuesday (February 27). The show has been making waves ever since the first promo was unveiled by the makers.

MANGAL LAKSHMI STORY, REAL NAME OF ACTORS

TV buffs are quite excited for the daily soap as it will mark the return of Diya Aur Baati Hum fame Deepika Singh. After playing the role of Sandhya, the popular actress is ready to roar with a new role on the small screen.

Deepika opened up about her role in the much-awaited show, expressing her excitement on making a strong comeback to the fiction space after a long time.

"Mangal is very different from my other characters, the show balances that strong and docile element. At one point, Mangal takes a stand against her husband's humiliation. I think this is the best way to bring change in society," the Kawach 2 actress told Indian Express. Interestingly, the actress is making a return to daily soaps in a full-fledged role after her stint in Kawach 2 ended. This is not her first show on Colors TV as she earlier worked with the channel in Kawach season 2, which was produced by Ekta Kapoor.

Deepika Singh's character Mangal is described as a 'woman who carries the weight of her responsibilities with grace and unwavering determination." Earlier this month, Deepika and Sanika promoted their new show on Dance Deewane 4.

The channel shared a glimpse of the episode along with the caption, Apni behen Lakshmi ke liya dher saara aashirwad aur #ChutkiBharSammaan batorne aayi hai Mangal, Dance Deewane ke manch par."

MANGAL LAKSHMI PROMO, FIRST EPISODE

Ahead of the premiere of the first episode of Mangal Lakshmi, Colors channel unveiled a new promo. The official Instagram handle of Colors TV released the video along with the caption, "Apne anubhav se seekh kar kya Mangal dhoondh paayegi Lakshmi ke liye ek aisa pati jo dega usse #ChutkiBharSammaan?"

Mangal Lakshmi's first episode has generated a massive response from the audience and the buzz is also good on social media.

The makers and the casting team have managed to rope in talented actors to play the main roles in the show. While Deepika Singh is seen in the titular role, Naman Shaw has been paired opposite her. Joining them are Sanika and Urvashi Upadhay.

Mangal Lakshmi replaced Doree on Colors channel. The show starring Mahi Bhanushali, Amar Upadhyay has been shifted to the 8:30pm slot to make way for MangalLakshmi on the channel.
