Mehndi Wala Ghar full cast: The wait is finally over. Sony Entertainment Television has officially launched its newest property titled Mehendi Wala Ghar. After the successful launch of Shrimad Ramayan earlier this month, the channel is back with another new show.

While TV buffs are loving Sujay Reu, Prachi Bansal, Nikitin Dheer and Nirbhay Wadhwa starrer Srimad Ramayan, Mehndi Wala Ghar has also managed to impress the audience with its first episode that focused on the story of Agarwal family.

KARAN MEHRA ON HIS TV COMEBACK

Karan Mehra, who is fondly known for his role of Naitik in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, expressed his excitement on teaming up with Sony TV for the unique family drama.

"Families are like branches on a tree, we grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one. This is the crux of Mehndi Wala Ghar, which really resonated with me and became one of the biggest reasons for me to say yes to the show. Portraying the character of Manoj Agrawal has been a deeply rewarding experience, allowing me to explore the complexities of human relationships and the values that bind families together. The show's narrative is a beautiful blend of tradition, love, and the essence of home, making it a compelling watch for viewers of all ages," the Bigg Boss 10 contestant had earlier said in a statement as quoted as saying by IANS.

Shehzad Shaikh, who has featured in hit shows like Qubool Hai and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, opened up about his role in the show while talking to Times Of India. He spilled the beans about his character and revealed the reason why he decided to take up the role in the new daily soap.

"I am a big believer in the saying - the family that eats together, prays together, stays together. Capturing a similar thought is our show, Mehndi Wala Ghar and the story of the Agrawal family is sure to strike a chord with viewers across India. When I heard the story and about the characters, it felt like I was being narrated tales of my own family; be it the strict yet endearing matriarch, the loving Chacha, or mischievous cousins - this heart-warming show will remind you of your extended family. My character Rahul is a very kind-hearted, fun-loving extrovert, and a no-nonsense person with his own set of beliefs when it comes to family; hence it makes for a challenging yet fulfilling role to portray," Shehzad said in a statement as quoted as saying by TOI.
