Mehndi Wala Ghar Last Episode Date EXCLUSIVE: Karan Mehra-Shehzad Sheikh's Show To Go Off Air On Sony TV?

Mehndi Wala Ghar last episode update: Filmibeat is back with yet another spicy update from the world of Indian television. Earlier in the day, we informed our beloved readers about Maati Se Bandhi Dor facing axe on Star Plus. Ankit Gupta and Rutuja Bagwe's show has received a notice from the channel to shut shop due to low ratings.

WILL MAATI SE BANDHI DOR GO OFF AIR?

Star Plus is set to rejig its programming with the launch of two new shows in the upcoming months. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Imlie makers are gearing up for the launch of their new daily soaps on the leading GEC.

"There were plans to revamp the storyline by bringing new cast and introducing a leap. However, the plans have been cancelled as the channel wants to axe Maati Se Bandhi Dor. The low ratings and increase in viewership of Parineetii played a big role in the massive decision. The channel earlier issued a notice to the production house to increase the TRPs or shut shop," our khabri exclusively told Filmibeat.

WHEN IS MEHNDI WALA GHAR ENDING ON SONY TV? SHOW TO GO OFF AIR

Remember, we earlier revealed that Sony TV might shift Mehndi Wala Ghar to an early evening slot? An industry source exclusively told Filmibeat, "KBC 2024 will be the biggest launch on Sony Entertainment Television after Shrimad Ramayan. While Shrimad Ramayan witnessed a decent viewership, other shows failed to strike a chord with the audience. The channel will axe Shrimad Ramayan on a high note and shift Mehndi Wala Ghar to the 7pm slot to make way for Kaun Banega Crorepati 16."

However, it is not happening. The show will end along with Shrimad Ramayan. Both shows will go off air to clear the prime time slot for Kaun Banega Crorepati 2024.

A source exclusively told Filmibeat, "Sony Entertainment Television has decided to pull the plug on Mehndi Wala Ghar. The show will end with a huge finale episode next month. The last episode date has not been fialised yet but we know that the cast and crew will wrap up the shoot by the end of July 2024. Mehendi Wala Ghar will end to make way for Kaun Banega Crorepati 16. It will be their biggest launch of the year as Amitabh Bachchan hosts the quiz-based show."
