Originally from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, Nitin Chauhan reportedly passed away after committing suicide. His former co-star, Vibhuti Thakur's social media post hinted the same. However, an official statement regarding the same is still awaited.

Nitin's father traveled to Mumbai to bring his son's remains home. This is an incredibly difficult time for the late actor's family, and may they find the strength to endure this profound loss.

The talented actor was last seen in SAB TV's much-loved show Tera Yaar Hoon Main in 2022, co-starring Sudeep Sahir and Sayantani Ghosh. Nitin was not much active on Instagram. His profile (with the username nitin_chauhaan.official) has only 55 posts and 204 followers.

He's survived by his father and sister. Details about his other family members are not yet available. Confirming the heartbreaking news, Nitin's friend Kuldeep told TOI, "We came to know today morning when his father and sister called us revealing that Nitin had passed away and they mentioned that the cause of death was suicide. We are equally shocked as he was going to come next month to Delhi and we had plans of going to Khatu Shyam ji's temple together."
