Pandya Store Exclusive: Since its premiere in 2021, Star Plus' Pandya Store has dominated the evening slot by entertaining the loyal fanbase. Led by Rohit Chandel and Priyanshi Yadav in the roles of Dhawal and Natasha, the family drama recently underwent a major transformation with the introduction of a seven-year leap.

The leap took place in Pandya Store last week and the whole cast was hoping that the show's fans would love the separation track of Dhawal and Natasha. However, in a shocking turn of events, the much-loved drama is going off-air after a three-year run.

In an exclusive chat with Filmibeat, Shabaaz Abdullah Badi aka Bhaven Makwana confirmed the news of Pandya Store ending later this month. Yes, you read that right!

Revealing the same, the actor stated, "I will just say that whatever starts in life, it has to end one or the other day. It's very simple... circle of life. So, ya, I'm upset that Pandya Store is going off-air after running (for) such a long time. But, I know that I'll get some other project very soon. But yes, I'll miss these days of Pandya Store, this one year working with three brothers. I'll miss Ankur bhai (Amrish Makwana), I'll miss Abhishek Sharma (Chirag), and Rohit Chandel (Dhawal). I'll miss all of them a lot, I'll miss the set, the entire team."

The actor is planning to take a small break before taking up another project. He added, "It's very hard to say goodbye. It has happened suddenly, it's very disheartening also. But ya, it is a circle of life. Whatever comes, has to go and we've to follow it with full spirit and good aggression. With super confidence, I'll start once again everything after this. I think I'll take a short break, like a month or two, to spend quality time with my family. To overcome all this, I think I should take a good break. So ya, it's disheartening but not the end of life. We've to tackle all these things. Soon, inshallah, I'll get a very good project I know. I've confidence in myself."

PANDYA STORE OFF-AIR REASON IS IPL 2024? SHABAAZ REACTS

Shabaaz Abdullah Badi revealed that the Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2024 is a major reason behind the end of Pandya Store. "The thing I'll miss is... everything. Shooting in film city for a year, it's like a very big thing. I've achieved a lot by working in this very popular show on Star Plus. Pandya Store was running on fifth number almost the whole year, it was very big thing for us. Everything was good, but suddenly this. Maybe, the big crocodile was the IPL (laughs) we can say. It has taken our show from us. The crocodile which killed Amrish bhai (Ankur Nayyar), it was the small one. The big crocodile actually is IPL," he concluded.

The last episode of Pandya Store is likely to air on May 26 (Sunday) as Ankit Gupta and Rutuja Bagwe's new show Maati Se Bandhi Dor is confirmed to take its 7:30 pm slot from May 27.
