Pandya Store Last Episode Date: Ankit Gupta starrer Maati Se Bandhi Dor has remained in the headlines ever since the makers confirmed the show. After weeks of speculations, Star Plus released the first promo of its much-awaited daily soap.

ANKIT GUPTA ON HIS ROLE IN MAATI SE BANDHI DOR

Maati Se Bandhi Dor will mark the comeback of Ankit Gupta in the fiction space. After entertaining the audience with Udaariyaan and Junooniyatt, the Bigg Boss 16 star will be seen playing the role of Ranvijay in the upcoming drama on Star Plus.

Talking about his role, he exclusively told Filmibeat, "The story starts from college life, where Rana emerges as one of the popular boys on campus. MAATI SE BANDHI DOR NOT REPLACING IMLIE?

Speculations were rife that Maati Se Bandhi Dor would replace Imlie after the culmination of Indian Premiere League 2024.

"Ankit Gupta starrer Maati Se Bandhi Dor will replace Imlie at 8:30pm slot from either May end or June first week. The promo for the show has been shot and the makers will soon start filming crucial sequences at an outdoor location. Ankit will be seen in a new avatar in the show," our source earlier told us.

However, there's a big change as Star Plus has confirmed the launch date and timings of Maati Se Bandhi Dor. The show is not replacing Imlie.

WILL PANDYA STORE GO OFF AIR AFTER IPL 2024? UPDATE

A source earlier told Filmibeat, "Maati Se Bandhi Dor is expected to take a prime time slot on Star Plus. The show will axe a few of its non-performing shows after the culmination of IPL 2024. Imlie, Pandya Store, Yeh Hai Chahatein are expected to be pulled off air or get shifted to a new time slot after Indian Premiere League 2024 ends."

As per the latest buzz, Ankit Gupta's show is launching from May 27 at 7:30pm slot. Does it mean closure for Pandya Store? Will Pandya Store end?

When we contacted a reliable source, he said that the channel will soon make an official announcement about it. "Pandya Store had a successful run of over 3 years. It is under the scanner and will make way for new shows on Star Plus but the channel has notified the production house," the khabri quipped.
