Pankit Thakker Disappointed with AR Rahman's Boastful Tale About Michael Jackson

As an actor and a huge fan of the late Michael Jackson, I was disheartened to read an article featuring AR Rahman's encounter with the King of Pop. While I have immense respect for Rahman's talent, I couldn't help but feel that the article was a self-serving piece aimed at boosting his own image.
As someone who has grown up idolizing Michael Jackson, I felt that the article diminished his importance and reduced their meeting to a mere footnote in Rahman's illustrious career. It seemed like a convenient timing, with Rahman's documentary premiering at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, to plant a story that puts him in a favorable light.
I couldn't help but wonder if this was a genuine recollection or a clever marketing ploy to generate buzz around his documentary. As a fan, I felt that Michael Jackson deserved better than to have his legacy used as a prop in someone else's story.
I wish AR Rahman had chosen to share his encounter with Michael Jackson in a more sincere and heartfelt manner, rather than using it as a means to boost his own reputation. Michael Jackson's legacy deserves to be celebrated with respect and reverence, not used as a tool for self-promotion.
