However, much to everyone's surprise, Poonam shared a video during the weekend and revealed that she was alive and the death hoax was just to raise awareness about cervical cancer. Poonam's publicity gimmick has left everyone miffed and fans and celebs have been calling her out for her insensitive act. And now, Poonam's husband Sam Bombay has reacted to the Poonam's fake death news.

Talking to the Hindustan Times, Sam said, "When I heard the news, I felt nothing in my heart. There was no sense of loss. And I thought this can't be. Why do I feel nothing? Because when you're connected, you feel everything. I think about her (Poonam Pandey) every day. And, I pray for her every day. If something was wrong, I'd know"

Furthermore, talking about Poonam's intention, Sam was seen supporting the actress. "I am happy she is still alive. She has a lot to contribute. Listen to me, if someone raises awareness about an issue with complete disregard for their fame or image, let's respect that. Poonam Pandey is timeless. She is the boldest Indian woman. Several years from now, she'll be celebrated," he added.

Meanwhile, Babil Khan was seen calling Poonam out for faking her death and shared a long note on social media. He wrote, "I don't know what the fu*k that was about Poonam Pandey's demise, but it just feels wrong. I'm trying not to care but it is making me feel really angry.
