After winning hearts as Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the TV diva is gearing up to play another different character in a fresh project that will air on Colors channel.

The Barrister Babu actress has jetted off to Jodhpur to shoot the promo of her upcoming serial. A source close to the project exclusively told Filmibeat, "The production house is making their grand debut on Colors TV with the new show tentatively titled Durga. Pranali Rathod was the perfect fit for the show as she aced the audition and look test. The makers are confident that the show will strike a chord with the audience just like their previous show Jhanak on Star Plus."
