Priyanka Chahar Choudhary-Ankit Gupta Drop Hints About Their 'New Project' At Abhishek Kumar's Bigg Boss Party

Priyankit new project: Bigg Boss 16 will always be remembered as Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta's show. Although the two stars didn't lift the winner's trophy, they managed to create ripples on the small screen with their sizzling chemistry in Salman Khan's reality show.

After their stint in Udaariyaan ended, PriyAnkit were offered Bigg Boss 16. They immediately accepted the offer and went on to participate in BB 16. It was a roller coaster ride for the duo as they engaged in nok-jhok, cute fights and showcased their chemistry in the show.

When Ankit Gupta got eliminated from Bigg Boss season 16, fans revolted and expressed their disappointment. As the actor was evicted on the basis of housemates' votes, the ardent viewers of the show requested the makers to bring him back as a wildcard contestant. He trended for days on social media following his elimination.

WHEN SALMAN KHAN PRAISED PRIYANKA CHOUDHARY, CALLED HER 'TRUE WINNER'

Priyanka Choudhary emerged as the second runner-up of Bigg Boss 16. While MC Stan won the show, Shiv Thakare secured the first runner-up position. After her eviction in the finale, Salman Khan openly praised Priyanka and called her a winner.

"How Priyanka has reacted to she being out of the house, coming so close. Everyone thought that Priyanka is going to win Bigg Boss season sixteen. Sab, mere khud ke dost, baharwale, mere parents, everyone. Usko toh pata nahi hoga lekin hame pata hai ki aisa laga raha tha Priyanka is going to win," Salman said.

"Itni mehnat karne ke baad. Akeli khadi hone ke baad, har ek se ladne ke baad, saath chutne ke baad. Har cheezon ke baad, standing against 15-16 people at a time. Ye ladki smile karte hue ghar se nikli hai. Meri nazar mein winner ye hai," he added.

PRIYANKIT NEW PROJECT DETAILS

On Tuesday (February 6), Priyanka and Ankit walked hand-in-hand as they arrived at Abhishek Kumar's party. The duo twinned in black, making waves on social media with their OOTD. When asked to comment about their Udaariyaan co-star Abhishek's performance in Bigg Boss 17, they lauded him game.

The paparazzi also asked the duo to speak about working together once again. While PriyAnkit didn't directly speak about their project, they dropped hints about their 'new collaboration'. "Definitely aisa kuch hoga, sabse phele aapko batayege," Priyanka. Ankit smiled as his co-star addressed the media and shutterbugs at the event.

On the professional front, Ankit Gupta was last seen in Junooniyatt, which went off air on Colors channel in November 2023. The show also starred Neha Rana and Gautam Singh Vig.

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary is currently busy with the shoot of Dus June Ki Raat, which will also feature Tusshar Kapoor. The diva will be seen in a different avatar in the thriller web series.
