Reality Ranis Of The Jungle Contestant: Who Is Sifat Sehgal? IRL Star Shares Her Gritty Experience On Show

In an unfiltered and candid revelation, model and reality TV star Sifat Sehgal pulls back the curtain on her raw experience competing in Reality Ranis of the Jungle, a show that's reshaping the landscape of Indian reality television. Having previously charmed audiences on Netflix's IRL: In Real Love, Sifat's journey on Reality Ranis of the Jungle was nothing short of transformative-testing her inner strength, resilience, and survival instincts like never before.
Sifat admits that when the opportunity for Reality Ranis of the Jungle first arose, she was hesitant. "It sounded so bizarre yet intriguing," she recalls. "I had never been part of a survival or challenge-based show, so it was all new and a little scary." But what began as uncertainty quickly turned into a life-altering adventure that pushed her to her absolute limits-both physically and mentally.

Unlike typical reality shows, Reality Ranis of the Jungle stands apart by featuring an all-women cast from diverse walks of life, placed in extreme survival conditions in the rugged Himalayan wilderness. Sifat reflects on the unique dynamic, "Bringing together women from different backgrounds to compete and coexist in harsh conditions-that's a challenge in itself!" she laughs. This wasn't just about battling the wild; it was also about navigating human relationships in high-pressure situations.
To prepare for the show, Sifat had to elevate her fitness regimen. "I'm not someone who loves the gym. But I started working out every day before the show. Mentally, I've grown so much over the years-overcoming body dysmorphia and eating disorders has made me stronger. That resilience really helped me power through."
One of the defining moments for Sifat came during an intense mud challenge. "I was in so much pain, and at one point, I couldn't feel anything. But when you're that deep into a challenge, nothing else matters. You're so focused on finishing that you don't realize the pain until it's over. That transition-going from adrenaline to reality-is something I've never experienced before."

Comparing her time on In Real Love to Reality Ranis of the Jungle, Sifat acknowledges the stark contrast between the two. "In Real Love was like a fun vacation; I didn't overthink things. But this show? It's like rehab! There's no room for naivety here. Every decision is made with survival and the finale in mind," Sifat quipped
Reality Ranis of the Jungle is a revolutionary survival show that marries glamour with grit. Set against the breathtaking yet unforgiving backdrop of the Himalayan jungles, the Discovery Plus show, which premiered on September 23, features 12 fearless women battling it out for survival. Hosted by Varun Sood, the show is redefining what it means to be a reality star-proving that beauty, strength, and resilience can go hand in hand.
