Rinku Dhawan On Giving Love A Second Chance: I Hope My Raj Is Somewhere Out There [Exclusive]

Rinku Dhawan needs no introduction. With shows like Kahaan Ghar Ghar Ki, Hum Paanch, and the recent Bigg Boss 17, Rinku's professional career graph has always been very promising. However, on the personal front, Rinku, in an exclusive conversation with FilmiBeat, shared that while she is not specifically searching for anyone, she does hope that one day she will find her Raj.

Rinku Dhawan: Happiness can be anything

For those unaware, Rinku was previously married to actor Kiran Karmarkar. The duo also have a son. In 2017, after being married for 15 years, Rinku and Kiran opted for a divorce. Since then, Rinku has remained single and has focused mostly on her son and work. When asked if she now feels ready to fall in love again, the actress said, "I am in constant search of happiness." When asked if that includes love, Rinku said, "Happiness can be anything. But no, I am not searching for anybody. (Laughs) I just wish, 'mujhe akela mat marna.' I hope my Raj is somewhere out there. If destiny has written something for me, it will definitely happen. I just want to move ahead from this midlife crisis."

In a previous interview, Rinku opened up about how love began fading in her marriage with Kiran when he stopped talking to her. Rinku then found emotional solace in another man. While Rinku's relationship with that man was limited to just being emotional confidants, Kiran, who learned about their conversations, did not like it and made a huge fuss. Following this, Rinku moved out of Kiran's life. Things are now quite cordial between Rinku and Kiran, and they also co-parent their son. Ironically, Kiran and Rinku played on-screen siblings in Ekta Kapoor's popular show Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii.
