Rituraj Singh Death: Popular Bollywood and television actor Rituraj Singh, who featured in hit films and shows, passed away on Monday (February 19). He was 59. The news of his demise has sent shockwaves across the entertainment industry.

RITURAJ SINGH DEATH REASON

Netizens have expressed their shock over the untimely demise of the talented actor, who featured in popular dramas like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Anupamaa, Beintehaa and Hitler Didi. Rituraj died due to a cardiac arrest.

According to media reports, Rituraj was undergoing treatment for pancreatic ailments. His family members have not released an official statement about his death. He is survived by his wife and children.

Rupali, who plays the titular role in Anupamaa, penned a heartfelt note to express her pain and grief. She mourned the loss of her co-star, sharing pictures of the actor from the sets of their show.

"Dear Rituraj Sir, It was an honour to share screen space with you ... like an enthusiastic student getting to learn her favorite subject from a teacher who has taught many others , I was overjoyed ... You said you had seen my work and yet I wanted to prove to you that I could earn my place in the frame standing next to one of the legends of television whom I had watched growing up ... your all knowing smile after our scenes and your words of encouragement was like a report card to me ... I was thrilled by your kind words ... but there was so much more to learn Sir. These pictures I had taken of you when you wore the chef cap ... I was tardy in sending it to you ... never thought these would be put up here as a remembrance (sic)," Rupali wrote.

"Your life stories ,quirky sense of humour, immense knowledge about world cinema and your talent shall always be remembered. Thank you for being Yashpal Sir to my Anupamaa. Thank you for the words that left an indelible mark (sic)," she added.

Who Will Play New Yashpal IN ANUPAMAA AFTER RITURAJ DEATH?

Rajan Shahi, who is the producer of Anupamaa, has not confirmed if the character of Yashpal will continue or not following Rituraj's death.

Yashpal Dhillon was the owner of "Spice and Chutney" restaurant. Rituraj played Anupamaa and Vikram's boss in the serial. He was seen as Yashdeep's brother in the number one show, which aired on Star Plus.
