EXCLUSIVE! Imlie Actress Gouri Agarwal To Play Lead In Rashmi Sharma's New Show On Colors TV?

Colors TV new show: It's raining new shows on Indian television. Like every year, Colors TV, Star Plus, Zee TV and Sony Entertainment Television are ready to rejig their programming by introducing new concepts. Colors is leading from the front as it is all set to revamp its weekday line-up with the launch of new shows.
LIST OF NEW SHOWS ON COLORS CHANNEL
Last month, the leading GEC introduced Lakshmi Narayan and Krishna Mohini to its line-up. It will end the month of May 2024 on a blockbuster note by replacing Qayaamat Se Qayaamat Tak with Nia Sharma starrer Suhaaga Chudail. The show will mark the comeback to Nia to the small screen in the fiction space after Naagin 4.
June will be all about new themes as Mishri and Khubsurrat will hit the airwaves on Colors channel. While shows like Suhaagan, Udaariyaan, Pandya Store, Doree are under the scanner, fresh daily soaps will be launched to replace them.
Laughter Chefs will replace Dance Deewane 4 from June 1 at the 9:30pm slot on weekends.
IMLIE ACTRESS BAGS NEW SHOW FOR COLORS TV
If the recent buzz is to be believed, Rashmi Sharma is also bringing a new show for Colors TV. Imlie actress Gouri Agarwal is in contention to play the protagonist in the serial. She was paired opposite Sai Ketan Rao in Imlie, which aired on Star Plus.
A reliable industry source exclusively informed Filmibeat, "Rashmi Sharma is all set to bring a new show on Colors channel with a different theme. The production house has started conducting the auditions for the male and female leads. We have heard that Gouri Agarwal has been approached to play the female lead in the show. She has given the audition and the casting team believes that she can be a great asset to the team. However, the two sides have not signed the dotted lines for the project."
The channel and the production house have remained tight-lipped about the development.
