Sandeep Kapoor On Being Part Of Suman Indori: It Is An Experience Of A Lifetime

Actor Sandeep Kapoor, who plays the role of Gajendra Gupta, in Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah's show Suman Indori, says that he loves being part of the project. The actor adds that he is playing such a role for the first time.

"My character is Gajendra Gupta who is a rich and very powerful politician. He has two daughters Devika ( Anita Hassanandani ) and Kritika ( Sambhabana) and he loves his daughters to the extent he can do anything to protect his daughters. My elder daughter is married to the Mittal family," he says.

He adds, "The only the only thing I can relate with the character is that I am also a father of a daughter and I can also do anything for my daughter. This is the first time that I am playing a politician in a show."

Talking about working with Studio LSD and Prateek Sharma, he says, "This is really the experience of a lifetime. He is one of the best producers and human beings I have worked with till date . The whole LSD team is positive and always creates a wonderful atmosphere on set."

Meanwhile, he says that it is important for an actor to go out of his comfort zone. "This is why an actor always wants to get a challenging character which gets him out of his comfort zone . And it is so important for an actor to grow and keep improving with each opportunity," he says.

Talking about shooting for the show, he says, "On my first day of shoot, Zain and another co-actor decided to make a reel on the latest Stree 2 song. All these young kids were ready with all the steps but me and Sai Bilal ji were not able to match them! And we did what comes immediately in our mind and that reel was such a big hit crossing 8 millions now! That was so on the spot and really so hilarious. This is one of the best memories I have right now," he says.

Meanwhile, the actor is confident that the viewers will love the storyline. "The audience will definitely connect with the theme as this is such a relatable story. The content of Suman Indori is so different and I'm sure the audience is going to love it as they will connect with it immediately," he says.
