Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai update: Rajan Shahi left the audience shocked when he announced the departure of Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe. The two celebs were fired from the hit Star Plus show within four months of joining it.

WHY WAS SHEHZADA DHAMI FIRED FROM YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI?

Rajan Shahi accused Shehzada and Pratiksha of being unprofessional as he released a long statement after announcing their exit. While Shehzada remained tight-lipped about the development, the Anupamaa producer alleged that he threw tantrums on the sets and misbehaved with the crew.

Shahi stated that Dhami's 'disregard for work ethics' was visible since the day one of shoot. He released a statement in the media, revealing the reason behind the firing of the two actors.

"Recent events have prompted Directors Kut Production to take a firm stance against unprofessional behavior displayed by two actors from the TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Shehzada Dhami, and Pratiksha Honmukhe. Shehzada Dhami's disregard for work ethics became evident from day one, as he consistently threw tantrums and mistreated the crew," Rajan said in his official statement as quoted as saying by BollywoodLife.

SHEHZADA DHAMI BREAKS SILENCE ON GETTING REPLACED IN YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI

Months after getting fired from the show, Shehzada Dhami broke his silence on his departure. The actor said that if people look a him with good intentions, he will look good. He added that he believes everyone is good and he sees them accordingly.

"Aap mujhe achi nazar se dekho, main achi nazar aauga. Main sabko achi nazar se dekhta hoon. So sab ache hain, har insaan acha hai, meri puri team achi hai," Shehzada, who played the role of Armaan in YRKKH, said according to Times Of India.

SHEHZADA DHAMI IN BIGG BOSS OTT 3?

Gossip mill suggested that Shehzada Dhami is in contention to be a part of Bigg Boss OTT 3. The makers of the show have reportedly approached him after he was ousted from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

"Yes, Shehzada has been given an offer. However, he is yet to accept the same. If he accepts the offer, the Choti Sarrdaarni actor will become the first confirmed contestant of Bigg Boss OTT 3," a source told Filmibeat.
