Shiv Shakti-Tap Tyag Tandav actor Srikant Dwivedi says with social media platforms and podcasts being so much used today, everyone gets the opportunity to give interviews. He said it was very rare, but has become very common now.

"In the past, celebrities used to be very private about their personal lives, and interviews were rare. Only big stars would give interviews, and it was considered a special event. However, things have changed over time," he said.

"With the rise of TV shows, web series, and the expansion of cinema, the industry has become more widespread. Now, even actors with small roles in movies or series have opportunities to give interviews or appear on podcasts," he added.

Mentioning podcasts, he said that it has provided a platform for individuals to share their stories and talk about themselves.

He continued, "I feel many people simply want to be heard. That's why they end up sharing so much about their lives through these platforms. What I believe is that everyone has their own way of sharing their thoughts and personal experiences through interviews, podcasts, or on various social media platforms. It's a personal choice when it comes to maintaining privacy."

Talking about himself, he said that he prefers to keep his personal life a bit private. "What's happening in my life right now, or the situations I am dealing with, I like to keep those things to myself and not make them public," he said, adding that it varies from person to person.

He further said, "Once you become a public figure, your life is no longer entirely private. People become very interested in knowing about your personal life. Sometimes, without you even realizing it, someone might click your pictures and share them on social media. People are curious to know more about the personal lives of celebrities. That's why many actors prefer sharing details about their personal lives-they want people to know about it, and it can bring them attention."

"On the other hand, there are also people who share their personal lives to inspire or share positive values with others, which is completely fine. It ultimately depends on the individual and their reasons for sharing or keeping things private," he added.

What about announcing breakups, divorce, etc.? "These days, most celebrities are announcing their engagements, marriages, and other personal milestones on social media. Perhaps they do this to connect with a wider audience. This trend is not limited to just celebrities but includes influencers as well. It's their way of keeping people updated about what's happening in their lives. It's important to note that these decisions are completely voluntary," he said.

"Celebrities willingly share their personal news, pictures, and updates on social media. It's never an unwilling act-they choose to share what they feel comfortable with. However, what's wrong is when people misuse this information or spread false news and rumors through other pages or platforms. That is unfair and unethical. But when celebrities share something themselves, it's entirely their choice, and they have every right to do so," Srikant ended.
