Shiv Shakti & Qubool Hai Fame Prince Dhiman Shares His Ganesh Chaturthi Plans: I’m from North India...

Actor Prince Dhiman, known for his roles in shows like Qubool Hai 2.0, Garud, Parshuram, and Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya Shiv Shakti, shares that, being from North India, he hasn't experienced the true fervor of Ganpati celebrations. Unfortunately, he won't be in Mumbai this year, but he hopes to bring Ganpati home next year.
"I'm from North India, so the celebrations are on a smaller scale compared to Mumbai. Idol installation and puja ceremonies are mainly conducted at home, with less emphasis on public celebrations. Visarjan is also not as grand and elaborate as it is here in Mumbai," he explains.
He adds, "I'll be in Delhi for some work, so I don't think I'll be able to celebrate in Mumbai this year. It's tough to take out time with so much work, but everything is manageable when it comes to devotion to Lord Ganesha."
On bringing Ganpati home, he says, "I haven't had the opportunity yet. For the past five years, I've been in Mumbai during Ganesh Chaturthi, and I think next year I'll finally bring Ganapati Bappa home. For now, I visit my friends who bring Ganpati home. I try to dedicate a day to visiting all of them, but I still end up missing some."
When asked what he will ask from Bappa this year, he says, "I seek Bappa's blessings and guidance, health and well-being for everyone around me, and the removal of obstacles and challenges in life. I believe God answers all prayers made with a pure heart, sincerity, and devotion."
As for indulging in the festive food, he says, "I eat a lot of sweets. This is one of those times when you should truly enjoy the traditions and customs of India's rich culture."
