Shrimad Ramayan OTT: Sony Entertainment Television has launched the biggest show on Indian television in recent times- Shrimad Ramayan. The mythological drama has made waves on the small screen, keeping the viewers engaged with its entertaining episodes.

Ahead of the telecast of birth of Ram Lalla episode on Srimad Ramayan, Arav Chowdhary aka King Dashrath spoke about his experience shooting for the show.

"Playing King Dashrath is a tremendous responsibility, and I consider myself fortunate to breathe life into this pivotal character in this epic. Being entrusted with the role of Lord Ram's father is an honour that will forever hold a special place in my heart. I hope I am able to do justice and bring alive the great pride and fulfillment that King Dashrtah felt with the arrival of his eldest son, Ram Lalla. Shooting for this divine moment on set transported me back to the birth of my own child; for any parent - holding their child for the first time is a magical moment," he said in a statement as released by Sony TV.

It has deliberately positioned the show so that it reaches the masses and they can watch it on television. The higher-ups want the audience to watch the show on TV and later, when the base is built, the episodes will be available for streaming on OTT," the source quipped.
