Shrimad Ramayan: Meet The Actor Who Is Confirmed To Play Bharat In Sony TV Show; DEETS Out

Shrimad Ramayan Cast: The eagerly anticipated mythological drama Shrimad Ramayan finally premiered on Sony Entertainment Television earlier this week and has already left fans asking for more. This timeless narrative of the Indian epic has graced the screens, allowing viewers to delve into the splendor and wisdom of Lord Ram's journey once again.

SHRIMAD RAMAYAN STAR CAST

After the revelation of Sujay Reu and Prachi Bansala as Ram and Sita in Shrimad Ramayan, the creators unveiled that Chennai Express actor Nikitin Dheer is essaying the character of Ravan in the mythological series. Now, the makers have finally announced the name of the actor who is confirmed to play Bharat in Srimad Ramayan.

TV actor Nikhilesh Rathore, last seen as a villain in Colors TV's Suhaagan, has been roped in to play Bharat in the Sony TV show. Yes, you read that right! Interestingly, he played the role of Ravan's son Akshayakumara in Star Plus' Siya Ke Ram.

WHO WILL PLAY BHARAT IN SHRIMAD RAMAYAN?

Confirming the same, Nikhilesh told ETimes, "I'm happy to be part of Srimad Ramayana. And see it as an opportunity to play the beautiful role of Bharata, son of King Dasharatha (Arav Chowdharry) and Queen Kaikeyi (Shilpa Saklani), He was the younger half-brother of lord Rama. In the tales of Ramayana, Bharata is presented as a symbol of dharma. Earlier in the year 2015, I was part of Siya Ke Ram, in which I played the role of Akshayakumara, the youngest son of Ravana."
