Sharing a video on her Instagram handle, where she was seen getting pushed by the pandal staff, the actress alleged that a security personnel snatched her mother's phone when she trying to click some pictures after her darshan.

She also explained how the staff manhandled her and her mother. Sharing the video, she penned a lengthy note, hoping that it would serve as "a wake-up call for event organizers and staff to treat visitors with dignity and respect." The video went viral in no time.

A day after Simran Budharup's viral post on her Lalbaugcha Raja experience, a case has been registered against her. A Mumbai-based resident named Faizan Ansari has registered a legal case against Simran at the Kala Chauki police station for using Lord Ganpati's for 'publicity stunt'.

In the complaint, he has strongly expressed his support for Hindu's Ganpati 'Lal Bagh Ke Raja' and said, "I am a true Muslim but I will never tolerate the insult of LAL BAGH KE RAJA then Police case Registered against SIMRAN BUDHARUP in Under Lalbagh Police Station Kala Chowki Mumbai."
