Sony TV New show: It's raining new shows on Indian television. Colors TV recently launched Apollena, which stars Aditi Sharma in a lead role. The leading GEC will also entertain the audience with Mannat that marks the TV comeback of Ayesha Singh aka Sai from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

A reliable industry source earlier exclusively told Filmibeat, "Mannat will be the next big launch on Colors channel. It is expected to either take the 9:30pm slot or 10pm slot on the channel. The show will be launched either along with Doree season 2 or before Doree 2. The channel is confident that the drama will strike a chord with the audience. It will also feature Ayesha Singh and Adnan Khan in lead roles."

Sony TV, which axed its non-performing fiction shows like Kavya, Pukaar and Jubilee Talkies, will soon undergo a complete revamp in the fiction space. It is gearing up for the release of CID season 2 as the crime drama is returning after six long years with a new season.

If the recent buzz is to be believed, SVF Production, a leading production house in West Bengal, is all set to bring a new show for Sony Entertainment Television.

"SVF Production (Shree Venkatesh Films) is gearing to launch a show on Sony TV next year. Eshaa Pathak has been approached by SVF production to play the lead for the upcoming Sony TV show. While the details about the drama have been kept under wraps, the production house has pitched an amazing concept to the channel. Eshaa is in contention to play the lead role in the series. Her performance in Anokka Bandhan earned her praise from all corners and hence, the makers have approached her for the new show," an industry source exclusively told Filmibeat.
