WHY ANUPAMAA-ANUJ DON'T DESERVE TO WIN STAR PARIVAAR AWARD 2024 FAVOURITE JODI?

Gaurav Khanna's entry in Anupamaa turned out to be a breath of fresh air amid the melodrama in the serial. When Anupamaa and Anuj married, the TRPs shot to the sky as the viewers were glued to their television sets. After Star Parivaar Awards 2023 were announced, the fans believed that either MaAn (Anupamaa-Anuj) or AbhiRa (Abhimanyu-Akshara) would walk away with the Best Jodi award.

Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna won the trophy, beating the likes of Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. This year, the duo has been nominated once again the same category. Do they deserve to win? Absolutely not.

While I am in love with Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna's scorching on-screen romance, their characters have disappointed me. MaAn have been separated on different occasions, proving that their relationship is not as strong as we believed. How can a couple win an award for Best Jodi when they are not even together?

I agree that there will be people, who will say that MaAn are still in love with each other. But where is the love when you cannot take a stand for your partner? How long will misunderstandings affect a relationship? Choti Anu couldn't be blamed for the mess in Anupama-Anuj's relationship when they couldn't resolve their issues.

Even if Anupama and Anuj get back together, what's the guarantee that they will not separate again in the future? A couple, which is not together, doesn't deserve to be awarded the Best Jodi award at Star Parivaar Awards 2024.

Let other jodis like Sailee-Sachin take the spotlight as they are taking a stand for each other. And mind you, I am not an avid viewer of Udne Ki Aasha. MaAn will always take the cherry for me but the creatives need to strengthen their relationship.
