Srikant Dwivedi On Shiv Shakti-Tap Tyag Tandav Completing 500 Episodes: "This Is A Huge Milestone"

Srikant Dwivedi On Shiv Shakti-Tap Tyag Tandav

With so many shows shutting down after only a few episodes, actor Srikant Dwivedi feels very lucky to have completed 500 episodes of his show Shiv Shakti-Tap Tyag Tandav. The actor, who plays the role of Vishnu in the show, says that he is grateful for the opportunity.

"I feel lucky to be a part of Shiv Shakti, and we recently completed 500 episodes. It's something I'm truly grateful for because, these days, there are shows where you never know what will happen next. Some shows wrap up in just a month, while others have been running for a long time. But no one can predict what the future holds for any show. Completing 500 episodes is a huge milestone, and I feel lucky and thankful to be part of the Shiv Shakti family," he says.

His previous show, Laxmi Narayan, is a spin-off of Shiv Shakti - Tap Tyag Tandav. Talking about the same, he says, "I wasn't expecting it, but Laxmi Narayan is my first lead role, whereas in Shiv Shakti, I'm doing a parallel lead. The makers liked my performance, and everyone's performance, which is why there were two shows. Every artist had their dream-come-true moment. I don't have enough words to describe how I feel about it because it's something that can be felt more than expressed."

Being part of two shows under Swastik Productions is exciting, he says, adding, "Believe me, I have worked with many production houses, and it's very common for people who are currently working with a production house to talk positively about it. But compared to others, this is one of the best productions. Even when I work with other production houses in the future, Swastik Productions will always be the number one production house I have ever worked with. The main reason I'm saying this is because, as an actor, the biggest thing is getting paid on time. You don't even have to ask for it; the payment just gets credited to your account. That's one of the key things. When it comes to other aspects like makeup rooms and services, we always get the best treatment. All the people working here treat the artists with respect, which is so important. It's said that the stronger the foundation, the sweeter the fruits, and the bigger the building. The producer here is such an amazing and humble man. The roots and fruits of his efforts will reflect his kindness. It has been an amazing experience with Swastik Productions, and whenever I get the chance to work with them again, I would love to continue working with them."

Talking about how his character has evolved, he says, "The character has evolved a lot. There's a huge difference now compared to when I started working on Shiv Shakti, playing the role of Lord Narayan. This was my first mythological show, my first historical show, and I was surrounded by some of the best people in this industry, people who specialize in mythological and historical characters. In the beginning, I was nervous because I was standing among legends of historical shows, but gradually, I started learning from them. I began reading more about Lord Narayan and watching more mythological dramas, which helped me get into the world of historical TV shows. Over time, I started enjoying it and loving the role, instead of just being anxious about it. Especially, I was working with many big actors, and as time went on, I became more comfortable and began to truly appreciate and enjoy the experience."
