Subuhii Joshii Talks About Missing Her Favorite Christmas Traditions: I Won’t Be Able To...

Subuhii Joshii, who will soon be seen in the web series Dons and Darlings on ALTT, usually gets excited about Christmas every year. However, this year she won't be able to celebrate it as she usually does due to her work commitments. She also shared her thoughts on how festivals have lost their traditional essence and have become more about socializing with friends.

She said, "I believe Christmas, Diwali, and other festivals aren't the same as they used to be. Now, they're mostly about going out, partying, and, you know, having a drink. Earlier, there was so much more to them. Maybe it's just me, but I feel the hype isn't what it used to be. That said, cities like Mumbai and even Delhi still carry that festive spirit. For me, being a DJ, Christmas is significant because it's our season. I get to perform at a lot of shows across different cities, which allows me to experience Christmas in many places."

She added, "Comparatively, Mumbai has a lot of buzz because people from various cities are here, and everyone celebrates it. I love it. I love Christmas, decorating, and putting up a tree at my house. But this year, I can't do any of it because I'm so busy with work and traveling constantly. I'm hardly at home, so I feel a little disappointed. But yes, work comes first for me."

For Subuhii, her secret Santa has always been her mother, and this year, she has a special request for her.

"My Secret Santa has always been my mother," she shared. "This year, since I'm traveling so much, I've left my pet with her for the month. My only wish from her is to take care of him because I'm very worried about him."
