Sumbul Touqeer's Father Reveals Trolls Target Kavya Actress Using His Name, Shares Notice

Sumbul Touqeer father case: Popular TV actress Sumbul Touqeer's father Touqeer Hassan Khan took a stand against the trolls, who shared defamatory posts against him on social media. After several X users circulated demeaning tweets about him, Touqeer took legal action against the trolls.

In his tweet, he said 'truth always prevails with patience'. The choreographer stated that defamatory posts circulated against him and his family would be dealt with strict action. As he retweeted a fan club's post, Touqeer confirmed that legal action was initiated against the trolls. He revealed that the cases were registered and the trolls would receive legal notices.

"Any/ all the defamatory posts published or circulated against myself and our family will be dealt with strictly and in accordance with the law. Cases are registered, and notice is on its way. Truth always prevails with patience & belief, (sic)" Touqeer Hassan tweeted.

Sumbul Touqeer's father, while interacting with Times Now, shared his first statement about taking legal action against the trolls. When asked about the case, he refused to speak and said that the matter is sub judice and he would release an official statement.

In the notice, Sumbul Touqeer's dad said that the trolls targeted his daughter by using his name and other cases. Their lawyer also shared an update about the case, stating that he is working on the matter. Lawyer Asshish Shukla mentioned that they would host a press conference and share the details about the case in the upcoming days.

Talking about Sumbul, the actress is currently seen in Kavya Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon. She is playing the role of an IAS officer in the drama which also stars Mishkat Varma in a lead role.

The TV diva shot to fame after essaying the titular role in Imlie, which aired on Star Plus. She received praise for her sizzling chemistry with Gashmeer Mahajani and Fahmaan Khan in the show.

After her stint in Imlie ended, the TV diva accepted Bigg Boss 16's offer and participated in Salman Khan's show. She was the highest paid contestant of the reality show, earning Rs 12 lakh per week.
