RD Burman Tribute On Superstar Singer 3

This Sunday, fans of Indian music and reality TV are in for a treat as Sony Entertainment Television's 'Superstar Singer 3' presents a special episode dedicated to the legendary RD Burman. Marking 40 years of the musical icon's influence on Indian cinema, this 'RD40 Special' will feature contestants and their captains performing 40 of Burman's most iconic hits. The episode promises not only a showcase of exceptional talent but also interesting trivia and memorable moments centered around RD Burman's illustrious career.

In a highlight of the upcoming episode, 9-year-old Nishant Gupta from Gurugram, a member of Mohd Danish's team, is set to captivate the audience. His classical rendition of 'Piya Bawri' from the 1980s film 'Khubsoorat' has already garnered high praise from the judges. Super Judge Neha Kakkar and the captains were visibly moved by Nishant's performance, with Kakkar expressing her astonishment at the young talent's ability to deliver such a high-level performance at his age.

Neha Kakkar was quoted saying, "Oh My God, I am stunned! At the age of nine, performing at such a high level is extraordinary. I thoroughly enjoyed that he sang for himself; his years of dedication and hard work towards his craft were visible. Keep it up. I feel blessed to be a part of this performance."

Captain Salman Ali also praised Nishant, stating, "Your performance made us numb. Also, as correctly mentioned by Neha Ma'am, it takes decades of effort to perform at such a high level, and hats off to your craft and your marvelous presentation. It felt as if you were not a chote ustaad, but a 'Bade Ustaad'. You sing very well but what you did today was so good. You are the king of this classical genre; your versatility in this genre is beyond anyone's reach, so keep it up and all the best."

Adding to the excitement, a comment from the renowned singer Shreya Ghoshal was shared, showcasing her admiration for Nishant's singing prowess. This encouragement from such a celebrated artist adds a cherry on top of Nishant's already remarkable performance.

The show airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM, exclusively on Sony Entertainment Television. Viewers are invited to tune in for a musical journey that celebrates the lasting legacy of RD Burman through the voices of the future of Indian music.
