We are talking about Mandar Chandwadkar who plays the role of Aatmaram Bhide.

To note, the reports of Mandar Chandwadkar quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) surfaced after a video went viral on social media confirming the news. The video didn't divulge the reason for Mandar's exit from TMKOC, but claimed that Mandar aka Bhide from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is all set to bid adieu to the popular sitcom soon. Needless to say, this has left the fans shocked and heartbroken.

Mandar Chandwadkar Reacts To His Exit From TMKOC

However, the reports have turned out to be mere rumours and Mandar Chandwadkar has rubbished the same. Taking to his Instagram handle, Mandar shared a video and spoke about the reports. He stated, "Mujhe bahut aascharya hota hai, dukh bhi hota hai iss baat ka ki social media platform ka log kaise galat fayda uthate hain. Yeh jo aap dekh rahe hain image wo jab 16 saal pura huye the tab main live gaya tha. Sabke saath baat karne ke liye aur usmein se yeh image capture karke yahan pe uska thumbnail banaya gaya hai". Mandar captioned the video as, "Guys please do not believe in rumours..and please do not spread it..TMKOC show have been entertaining all of you since 2008 and it will continue the same in coming years..just wanted to convey the truth so posted this reel.... lots of gratitude and lots of love".

To note, this isn't the first time there have been reports about a cast member exiting the show. Recently, it was reported that Sharad Sankla, who plays the role of Abdul in the show, was also rumoured to be quitting the show. This happened after the recent track on the show wherein Abdul was missing from the Gokuldham society. Talking to ETimes, Sharad clarified, "I am not going anywhere and am very much a part of the show. The storyline in the show is such that my character is not there, but very soon Abdul will return. It is part of the storyline. It is such a lovely and long-running show, and I am known because of my character Abdul-it's a big achievement. Why would I quit the show? I can't even think of quitting. Jab tak show chalta rahega tab tak main uska hissa bana rahunga"
