Abdul Aka Sharad Sankla Reacts To Reports Of Him Quitting TMKOC: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest running sit-com in Indian television. Abdul, played by Sharad Sankla, is one of the beloved characters of the show. Earlier today, reports spread like wildfire, Abdul has left the TMKOC after 16 years, leaving the diehard TMKOC fans heartbroken. Now, the actor himself broke his silence on the ongoing rumours.

Ever since the show first premiered on Sab TV in 2008, Sharad Sankla, who plays the role of 'Abdul', has been an integral part of the show. Earlier today (August 22), whirlwind of rumours started doing rounds claiming that Sharad has left TMKOC after 16-long-years. To note, an upset Abdul (Sharad's character) has gone missing from the Gokuldham society in the current track of TMKOC, which led to the ongoing speculations.

Turns out, reports of Sharad leaving TMKOC are nothing but FALSE! Talking to Pinkvilla, Sharad Sankla aka Abdul from TMKOC has dismissed the ongoing reports of him quitting the show.

Reacting to it, Sharad said, "Aisa nai hai... Audience ko galat news jaa rahi hai... Yeh bas show ka ek track hai... Jaldhi Abdul Gokuldham society lautega. Itna acha production house hai, Neela Telefilms. Asit Modi itne ache insaan hai... Main zindagi mey yeh show nahi chhod sakta... Aap sabko bata dijiye, Abdul Bhai kabhi Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah nahi chodege."

For those unversed, last month, Goli aka Kush Shah bid adieu to the show. Several actors, who played iconic characters on the show, Shailesh Lodha, Disha Vakani, Gurucharan Singh and Jennifer Mistry among others have left the show.
