Tejasswi Prakash news: There are a few actresses who can strongly claim that they ruled Indian television. While TV divas like Shweta Tiwari, Divyanka Tripathi, Ankita Lokhande, Hina Khan once dominated the small screen with their respective shows, Tejasswi Prakash hogged all the limelight with her stints in Khatron Ke Khiladi, Bigg Boss 15 and Naagin 6.

Tejasswi made waves when she participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 10. Although she had to quit the show because of her eye injury, her daredevil side won the hearts of the audience. Rohit Shetty openly praised her for her performance.

The Marathi Mulgi later went on to feature in Bigg Boss 15. She not only emerged as the most popular contestant but also won the show. She defeated Pratik Sehajpal, Shamita Shetty, Karan Kundrra in a star-studded finale to lift the winner's trophy.

She received the offer for Naagin 6 when she was locked inside the BB 15 house. Ekta Kapoor went inside the Bigg Boss house to select her as the new nagin, keeping it a secret from the viewers and contestants. The grand announcement was made during the finale episode of Salman Khan's reality show.

There has been a buzz over Tejasswi Prakash not taking up shows as she is keen to work in films and OTT. The rumour spread like wildfire on the internet. This sparked speculation about her leaving TV. However, the Swaragini actress has confirmed that she has just taken a break from TV.

Teja said that she wants to explore different mediums and do good work.

"I am not going to say that I will never do a TV show. After all, it has made me who I am today. If done in the right manner wherein you pick the right shows, then you certainly get recognition. People know me, but now I want that to translate into something else. So yes, I have taken a break from television," Tejasswi Prakash told ETimes.

On the professional front, Tejasswi Prakash was last seen on the TV screens in Naagin 6. She was rumoured to be joining Karan Kundrra as a special guest on Laughter Chefs.
