Udaariyaan Actress Twinkle Arora: I Enjoy The Traditional Experience Of Reading Books

Udaariyaan-fame actor Twinkle Arora is in support of audiobooks but doesn't prefer them. Instead, she loves to hold a physical book in hand and read it. Speaking on the occasion of National Book Lover's Day, which is observed on August 9, she said, "Having the option of audiobooks is good, but honestly, I haven't used it much. I still enjoy the traditional experience of reading books with a marker and book in hand." She loves reading books, and added, "Honestly, it wasn't a thing for me until school, but by the end of college, it naturally became a part of my life. My curiosity for knowledge drove me into it. Many Lives, Many Masters by Dr. Brian Weiss gave me a significant push back into reading."
And she doesn't believe that the book reading culture is dying. She said, "While awareness is less, the internet has actually helped in some ways. However, social media often distracts people with scrolling, leaving less time for reading and intellectual growth."
A book that you have read multiple times? "I often re-read self-help books, marking important lines that I find impactful. One such book is Manifest by Roxie Nafousi. I keep these marked lines to revisit for inspiration and reflection," Twinkle ended.
