Ankit Gupta celebrates 12 glorious years in the entertainment industry. A Meerut boy who took the center stage to become the most handsome face on Indian Television. His journey started as a model and actor for commercials and music videos but his first appearance as Dr. Abhishek Kumar in the popular show Balika Vadhu in 2012 gave a start to his career.

The actor got his due in 2014 when he returned to the screen as Parth Kashyap for the show Sadda Haq opposite Harshita Gaur. The pairing was celebrated and overnight he became a youth sensation. His fan following kept growing with time. Ankit kept doing more hit shows on Television like Begusarai, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, Mayavi Maling, and Kundali Bhagya but he was not getting the lead role in the limelight that he enjoyed in Sadda Haq.

Actor-turned-producers Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey were in search of the perfect fit for the role of Fateh Singh Virk, in the popular drama 'Udaariyaan', which was their first production gig. Things turned for Ankit when he was locked for the lead role and there was no looking back. His popularity rose overnight and he was offered Bigg Boss season 16.

The reality show Bigg Boss gave Ankit a new identity. He was appreciated for his witty humour. He spoke in the right places and at the right time which made fans love him even more. During this time, he even got spotted on the NewYork's famous Times Square Billboard. The increased fandom gave Ankit another show called, 'Junooniyatt' which he recently wrapped for producers Sargun and Ravi. The musical was loved by the fans And they can't wait to see their favourite actor back on screen. Ankit has not made any official announcements for his next project but he is seen supporting his brother and friend Abhishek Kumar, who is currently in the Bigg Boss 17 house.
