Udne Ki Aasha Exclusive: The whole team of Udne Ki Aasha, produced by Rahul Kumar Tewary, is currently beaming with joy as the Star Plus show has witnessed a hike in the TRP ratings. Featuring Kanwar Dhillon and Neha Harsora in the lead roles of Sachin and Sailee respectively, Udne Ki Aasha touched the 2.3 mark in the recently-released TRP ratings and became the third most-watched show across channels.

As this is a huge milestone for the cast and crew of Udne Ki Aasha, Filmibeat got in touch with lead star Kanwar Dhillon who poured his heart out on the well-deserving success of his Star Plus show and its entry in the top three after beating other hit dramas including Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

KANWAR DHILLON ELATED WITH UDNE KI AASHA TOUCHING THE 2.3 MARK ON TRP LIST

Sharing his happiness, Kanwar Dhillon stated, "Well, it's a great feeling. I think Udne Ki Aasha definitely deserves it, we've been working very hard. Having been launched during IPL and then chasing the elections, the World Cup, the entire cricket fever of 3-4 months. Even in that, we were the only new show that was consistently 1.7-1.8, and in that bracket. We were always in the top 5-top 4 race. But, it feels great. We were 45 minutes for a good three months, the show has reached a wider audience and it's grown by leaps and bounds, and here we are today, at 2.3, in the top 2-top 3 best shows of Indian Television. It's actually not about reaching the number two, number three spot, it's also about climbing the mountain and sustaining being there on the top. Because the higher you get, the more responsibility you have on your shoulders, about maintaining the quality of the show, the content of the show, and keeping the audience hooked on. So, I think, we've managed to do that pretty well till now and I'm pretty sure that the entire team and all of us will continue to keep the audiences hooked on to our show and hopefully grow even more further in the coming days."

The development has also left Udne Ki Aasha fans elated who now wish to see their favorite show on the top spot replacing Rupali Ganguly's Anupamaa. Talking about the same, Kanwar termed the competition healthy and cleared that it's about being the best show out there.

He added, "Also, I don't think it's really about any competition with Anupamaa or any other show. Each show is doing great in their respective spaces and that's the reason, they are where they are. But, I think, it's just about being the best show out there. Then, no matter, which show is ahead of us or behind us, that doesn't matter. Our eventual aim as a team is to be the best one out there and I think Udne Ki Aasha is going ahead at a pretty great pace, at a pretty great speed. I think this is the best way to go to the top of the mountain rather than just shooting up and falling down at the same speed. I think consistency is the key and we're pretty good at it.
