Earlier, producer Rajesh Ram Singh denied the buzz about the leap in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar meiin. He refuted the rumour about Shakti Arora's replacement and claimed that GHKPM was not taking a leap. However, his claim turned out to be false. Hitesh Bharadwaj has been confirmed as the new hero of Ghum Hai and his entry has already been aired.

A source told Filmibeat, "Hitesh Bharadwaj fits the bill perfectly for the role that we have envisioned. He will take over the charge from Shakti Arora. Hitesh and Bhavika looked compatible in the promo that we shot and their chemistry was also scorching. We are hopeful GHKPM will rise to new heights after the seven-year leap."

Gossip mills have suggested that Sony SAB's Vanshaj is expected to take a 'time jump' following which the actors might bid adieu. The creative team has planned to spice up the drama by introducing a 'time jump'. Considering the current norm in Indian television industry, the makers of Vanshaj are also opting for a leap. The casting for the actors has already commenced."

While there are rumors that Mahir Pandhi's track has ended in Vanshaj, we wonder if Anjali Tatrari will quit the serial after the leap or not.
