Vedaa Actor Kapil Nirmal: I Have Achieved Success Because I Have Been Honest With My Work

Actor Kapil Nirmal, known for his roles in popular television shows like Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, Veera, and Na Aana Is Des Laado, recently made his film debut in Nikkhil Advani's Vedaa, alongside John Abraham, Sharvari Wagh, and Abhishek Banerjee. Reflecting on his journey, Kapil emphasizes that hard work never goes to waste and attributes his success to his honesty and dedication to his craft.

"I was never in a hurry until I got my first project. After that, my approach was simple: good work will pave the way. Whatever I have achieved to date is because I have always been honest with the projects I get involved in," he shares. For Kapil, this integrity has been the cornerstone of his career, helping him build a reputation for reliability and excellence in the industry.

When asked if he regularly checks TRP ratings or reviews of his projects, Kapil candidly admits that while he doesn't obsess over them, they do come to his attention. "It comes out on Thursdays, every week. If you are on set, you'll hear people talking about it, and you end up knowing the progress. But I do read reviews and messages," he says.

Kapil also believes in constantly evaluating and improving his work. "I do watch my work. It's always good to see the final outcome. Once you are satisfied, it's done. I am maturing as an actor with time and work experience behind me, but for sure, I cannot take things for granted," he acknowledges.

Looking ahead, Kapil is open to new challenges, particularly in comedy-a genre he hasn't yet explored. "As a wise man says, there's always a chance for improvement or getting better. One thing I know and believe in is to never blow your own trumpet," he concludes.
