The Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actress, while interacting with the media, revealed the real reason behind joining BJP amid the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. She credited PM Narendra Modi for the 'development in India', stating that she feels to be a part of it. The Sanjeevani actress praised the Indian Prime Minister and said that she is a fan of his work.

"When I see this 'Mahayagya' of development, I feel that I should also take part in this. I need your blessings and support so that whatever I do, I do it right and good," Rupali was quoted as saying by ANI. Here's what she said at the press conference!

When we asked a source from the set, he laughed off the rumours. "Why will Rupali Ganguly even think of quitting her baby? Anupamaa is like a child to her and she can never think of leaving the show. She will continue to be a part of the show even after joining politics. She has managed her personal and professional life well and this is an added feather to her crown," the source quipped.

Interestingly, there were also rumors that Gaurav Khanna would bid adieu to the serial. However, there's no truth to the conjecture about his exit from Anupamaa. Rajan Shahi also refuted the speculations about Anuj Kapadia's death in the hit Star Plus show.
