MANIR JOURA ON WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2024

World Environment Day highlights urgent environmental challenges. Each year, a specific theme is selected to address critical issues such as climate change, global warming, and deforestation. This year's theme focuses on land restoration, desertification, and drought resilience.

On the special occasion, TV star Manit Joura shared his views about why we need to protect the environment. The talented actor, who essays the role of Yug in Zee TV's Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan said, "World Environment Day reminds us of the urgent need to protect our surroundings. There are many things we can do every day; simple actions like keeping wet and dry garbage in separate bins, and maintaining plants at home can make a big difference over time. We should also not use plastic, ensure no wastage of water and electricity, and use public transportation or carpooling to reduce pollution. It is all about taking small steps towards a better future."

He added, "In my farmhouse, I have planted numerous trees, they not only provide shade to the animals present in the farmhouse but also provide us with various fruits and vegetables for daily consumption. I leverage my profession to spread the word and by raising awareness and inspiring others, we all can make a positive impact. Let's work together to create a cleaner, greener world for everyone.
