World Music Day Exclusive Rachi Sharma

World Music Day Exclusive: What is life without music? Whether we're taking a walk in nature, spending a rainy day alone at home, or celebrating with loved ones at a party, music provides the perfect backdrop for the moments we cherish. With its diverse genres, music seamlessly aligns with the various moods we experience throughout the day.

Artists and musicians worldwide constantly explore new genres, tunes, and rhythms to entertain their audiences with fresh musical styles. Every year on June 21, World Music Day is celebrated to highlight the significance of music and encourage musicians and artists to perform in public spaces.

This celebration emphasizes how music enhances our sense of community, fostering unity in diversity. Music, unlike many art forms, transcends language barriers and is understood through feeling, making it a powerful medium for bringing people together.

Coincidentally, World Music Day shares its date with the International Day of Yoga, both celebrated annually on June 21. This year, World Music Day is being celebrated today, offering a perfect opportunity to embrace the joy of music and its ability to connect us all.

I think World Music Day is not just for musicians; it's for all of us-the audience, the listeners, the admirers of music.
