Pratiksha Honmukhe and Shehzada Dhami's controversial exit from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai became the talk of the town. In a major development, Rajan Shahi announced the departure of the two actors from his hit show. Accusing them of unprofessionalism, the Anupamaa producer issued a long statement and slammed them.

Rajan Shahi alleged that Shehzada Dhami threw tantrums on the set, adding that the Choti Sarrdaarni actor misbehaved with the crew. "Recent events have prompted Directors Kut Production to take a firm stance against unprofessional behavior displayed by two actors from the TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Shehzada Dhami, and Pratiksha Honmukhe. Shehzada Dhami's disregard for work ethics became evident from day one, as he consistently threw tantrums and mistreated the crew," Rajan said in his official statement as quoted as saying by BollywoodLife.

He said that Pratiksha couldn't meet the demand of her character and hence, her contract was terminated. Gossip mills suggested that Pratiksha and Shehzada's growing closeness played a big role in their departure from the show.

Two months after getting fired from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Pratiksha Honmukhe has bagged a new show. Yes, you read that right! According to a report in a portal, she has been confirmed to play an important role in Zee TV's popular show Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye. The actress will be seen sharing screen space with Sriti Jha and Arjit Taneja in the daily soap.

"Pratiksha Honmukhe will play the role of Priyanka. Her entry will bring in a complicated love triangle in the plot," a source told IWMBuzz. The actress will essay the role of Virat's ex-wife in the ZEE TV show.
