In an interview with Telly Bytes, Rohit Purohit, who plays Armaan Poddar in the hit show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, expressed his happiness about the achievement. He credited the hard work of the entire team for the show's success and wished to top the TRP charts soon by beating Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna's Anupamaa, the current topper.

ROHIT PUROHIT REPLACED SHEHZADA DHAMI IN YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI

For those unaware, Rohit Purohit took over the role of Armaan Poddar after Shehzada Dhami's departure from the show following a dispute with the production house in March this year. Producer Rajan Shahi had accused Shehzada of causing disruptions on set and displaying starry behavior.

Ever since his entry, Rohit Purohit has garnered praise for his portrayal on the show and has been enjoying the success of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Recently, he and his wife Sheena Bajaj purchased their first home together in Mumbai.
