Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Samridhii Shukla (Abhira) Reveals Why She Had Breakdown On Set: I Never Stop...

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: When Rajan Shahi introduced a generation leap in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in 2023, the decision was met with criticism. TV buffs expressed their displeasure over his decision to take a time jump and change the leads.
Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod fans were unhappy over the replacement as they believed that makers didn't fully explore the story of Abhimanyu and Akshara. They shared their thoughts on social media, asking the channel and the production house to cancel the leap.
Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami had a rough start as the audience took their own sweet time in accepting them as the new faces. After all, Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod did a wonderful job in portraying their respective roles.
After a slow start, the TRPs of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai picked up. Today, YRKKH is the number two show across all the channels after Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa.
Considering she is an introvert in real life, it was not easy for Samridhii Shukla to essay the rle of Abhira. When asked about how she managed to play a bubbly character like Abhira, Samridhii stated that it was 'too much to take all at once'. The Saavi Ki Savaari star mentioned that she had no zero idea of what was expected from her while she played Akshara.
Samridhii Shukla recalled the time when she used to have breakdown while being alone in her room. She spoke about the same in detail, revealing that it took her some time to get used to the character that she is playing in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
"I used to breakdown alone in my room almost everyday but no matter what I never stop trying and never gave up," she said in her interview with TellyExpresss.
Earlier, Samridhii revealed what she told Pranali Rathod when they met each other for the shoot of a promotional video. "She's super sweet and easy. In fact on her farewell, I told her I know it's hard to say goodbye but I wish for you to reach far far heights and do great work," Samridhii Shukla told TellyExpress.
