In a shocking development, Rajan Shahi released a statement to announce his departure from the show. The ace producer fired Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe from the show, accusing them of unprofessionalism.

The Anupamaa producer said that he fired Pratiksha Honmukhe as she failed to meet the requirements of the character. He replaced Shehzada and Pratiksha from the show, bringing overnight replacements. While Rohit Purohit played the new Armaan, Garvita Sadhwani was locked as new Ruhi in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Breaking his silence over his controversial exit, Shehzada Dhami said that he was deeply hurt with Rajan Shahi's actions. From revealing that his dues are not clear to alleging that Shahi commented on his upbringing, the actor shared several things in his interview with Siddharth Kannan. The talking point of the interview was rumours of Rajan Shahi asking the actors to touch his feet.

Samridhii Shukla's co-star Shruti Ulfat, who plays the role of Vidya, opened up about Shehzada Dhami's claims about Rajan Shahi making the actors touch his feet.

Shruti Ulfat, while talking to Telly Masala, denied Shehzada's claims. She said that she has never Rajan Shahi asking the actors to touch his feet. She added that people greet and meet Shahi when he comes on the sets but she never saw anyone touching his feet.

Terming Shehzada Dhami's claims as 'false', the Sasural Genda Phool actress said that she has no idea why he felt like this.
