Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai controversy: Rajan Shahi's decision to fire two actors from YRKKH set several tongues wagging. He left the audience shocked when he terminated the contracts of Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe.

Rajan Shahi accused Shehzada Dhami of unprofessionalism, stating that he threw tantrums on the set. He alleged that the actor misbehaved with the crew and his 'disregard for ethics' was visible from the first day of shoot.

The Anupamaa producer said that Pratiksha was ousted as she failed to meet the requirements of her character in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

"Recent events have prompted Directors Kut Production to take a firm stance against unprofessional behavior displayed by two actors from the TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Shehzada Dhami, and Pratiksha Honmukhe. Shehzada Dhami's disregard for work ethics became evident from day one, as he consistently threw tantrums and mistreated the crew," Rajan Shahi said in his official statement as quoted as saying by BollywoodLife.

SAYLI SALUNKHE INDIRECT DIG AT SHEHZADA DHAMI

A former Star Plus lead supported Rajan Shahi amid Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha's firing from YRKKH. We are talking about Sayli Salukhe. She earlier worked with the production house in Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, which also aired on Star Plus.

Sayli Salunkhe came out in Rajan Shahi's support after Shehzada Dhami's interview went viral. Shehzada, while talking to Siddharth Kannan, alleged that Rajan asked him to address him as sir on the set. He even stated that his dues have not been paid but he is hopeful the production house would clear the same.

Shehzada Dhami expressed his displeasure over Rajan Shahi's actions, adding that he was hurt when the producer commented on his upbringing. He said that his mother is a single parent, who worked hard so that he can achieve his dreams. "Rajan's sir comment deeply affected me," the Choti Sarrdaarni actor said in his interview.

Without mentioning Shehzada and Pratiksha's names, Sayli said that actors troubled Rajan on the sets. While fans assumed she took an indirect dig at Shehzada, the actress said that she had a great time whenever she worked with the production house.

"In Rajan Shahi's show, people are questioning him but the actors also trouble him a lot," Sayli told News 18. The Pukaar actress said that she doesn't know 'who is at mistake and it's unfair to pass judgments without knowing both sides of the story.
