Talking to Tellymasala, Rohit explained that after the scene where Abhira slaps Armaan concluded and the director called cut, he jokingly lightly tapped Samridhii in jest. He clarified that the moment captured by a media outlet was actually a behind-the-scenes (BTS) interaction. However, the media presented it as a scene, leading viewers to believe that Armaan had slapped Abhira.
