The Indian television industry was taken aback when Rajan Shahi announced the departure of Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Dhami from YRKKH. He accused them of unprofessionalism, stating that Shehzada threw tantrums on the statement and even misbehaved with the crew.

The Anupamaa producer said that he was unhappy with Pratiksha's growth in her character and hence, she was fired from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

A few days after Shehzada Dhami shared his side of the story, Samridhii Shukla opened up about staying silent over the controversy. The actress, who plays the role of Abhira, revealed the reason why she never spoke about the controversial exit of her co-stars from the show.

According to a report in BollywoodLife, Samridhii Shukla said that she believes if she cannot add anything good, so she musr refrain from adding anything bad. "There are things that happened in the show and there is always a reason why such steps are taken, but I will contribute to a sinking ship," she said in her interview.
