Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Twist: Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe's exit from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai set several tongues wagging. In a major development, the production house fired the two celebrities on the set, replacing them overnight. The producer released a statement, accusing the duo of unprofessionalism.

WHY WAS SHEHZADA DHAMI REPLACED IN YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI?

Last month, Rajan Shahi took a drastic decision to replace Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe from the serial, leaving the audience surprised. The replacements became the talk of the town as the lead was replaced overnight.

The Anupamaa producer accused Shehzada Dhami of throwing tantrums on the set and misbehaving with the crew. In the statement, it was alleged that Dhami's 'disregard for ethics was visible from the first day of shoot in Mahabaleshwar'.

"Recent events have prompted Directors Kut Production to take a firm stance against unprofessional behavior displayed by two actors from the TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Shehzada Dhami, and Pratiksha Honmukhe. Shehzada Dhami's disregard for work ethics became evident from day one, as he consistently threw tantrums and mistreated the crew," Rajan Shahi said in his official statement as quoted as saying by BollywoodLife.

Talking about Pratiksha Honmukhe, she was replaced as the makers found that she was unable to meet the requirements of the character. Interestingly, Shehzada and Pratiksha are rumoured to be dating each other and Dhami's influence on Honmukhe was said to be a major factor in their exit.

Rohit Purohit has replaced Shehzada Dhami as the new Armaan in Yeh Rishta serial. Garvita Sadhwani has stepped into Pratiksha's shoes and she is now playing the role of Roohi. After the exit of the two actors, StarPlus has released a new montage for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which features Samridhi, Rohit and Garvita.
