Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: In tonight's (August 2) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Vidya comes to the Goenka house to convince Manish to give Rohit and Ruhi's relationship a chance. Surekha interrupts, saying that Ruhi will never go to the Poddar House. Manish tells Ruhi to announce her decision, and she says that she no longer wants to stay with Rohit, which shocks Vidya.

Later, Vidya goes to meet Armaan (Rohit Purohit) at his office and asks him to talk to Ruhi about giving Rohit a chance. Initially, Armaan refuses, saying it will cause more conflict in their relationships, but Vidya requests him to try once, as maybe hearing it from him will make Ruhi reconsider.

Later, Rohit offers Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) some water as she was getting hiccups. He questions how she can trust Armaan despite everything he has done. She tells him about the lesson she learned from Vidya: that being someone's last love is the greatest thing. Later, Armaan comes to the outhouse, and both Abhira and Armaan hug each other and apologize for their fight.

Armaan tells Abhira about what Vidya asked him to do, and Abhira says he doesn't need her permission as she trusts him completely. Later, Ruhi and Rohit accidentally meet at a cafe where Ruhi had come to meet her client to show her jewelry design and Rohit had come to discuss a case.

Ruhi tells him that this is what he wants.
