Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update August 28: Abhira Sings O Kanha; Ruhi Remembers Aunt Akshara

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: In tonight's (August 28) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) heads to the bank to apply for a loan, and Vidya questions Kaveri about why she allowed it. Kaveri explains that she wants Abhira to learn to take responsibility.

Later, at the bank, Kaveri calls Abhira and advises her to list Kaveri as a guarantor on the form. Meanwhile, Ruhi (Garvita Sadhwani) faints on the road while on her way to deliver the wedding cards for printing. Armaan (Rohit Purohit) happens to be passing by, and Ruhi falls into his arms.

Abhira arrives just in time to help Ruhi into the car. When Ruhi regains consciousness, she finds Rohit (Romit Raj) by her side, showing concern for her.

The next day, the Poddars prepare for the Pooja, and Kaveri asks if anyone knows a Krishna bhajan. Abhira surprises everyone by starting to sing "O Kanha," leaving them in shock. Manish, Swarna, and Surekha arrive for the Pooja and are astonished by Abhira's singing. Manish asks where she learned the bhajan, and she replies that she heard it once at a temple.

Ruhi is in a total state of shock. She has tears in her eyes remembering her aunt Akshara. Abhira then asks Kaveri if she can take charge of the day's function, and Kaveri agrees. Later, all the women begin preparing for the Janmashtami Pooja.
