Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update July 9: Abhira’s First Case Against Ruhi; Will Armaan Support Her?

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: In tonight's (July 9) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan tries to assure Abhira that he only loves her and tells her that she knows they cannot live without each other. Suddenly, Vidya and Madhav arrive, and Madhav reveals that he knew at the time of Armaan's and Ruhi's wedding that Abhira and Armaan's marriage was still void. He explains the incident that occurred during the marriage time, revealing that Sanjay was behind it all.

Abhira questions him, and he explains that he didn't want them to be forced to live together, but rather wanted their hearts to understand each other. Armaan thanks him for this, but gets angry with Sanjay and wants to tell Dadi Sa everything. However, Madhav stops him and advises him to focus on his marriage instead. Armaan tells Abhira that just because they are still married, he won't force anything on her, and she can take her time to come to him.

At the Poddar house, Manisha, Manoj, and the kids secretly plan to go to the outhouse, but Dadi Sa catches them and asks about their intentions. Everyone comes up with their own reasons for going to the outhouse. Later, alone in the Poddar house, Kaveri feels lonely and imagines Abhira standing in her house, taunting her that everyone now loves her and she should do some bhajan kirtan.

RUHI HITS SOMEONE WITH CAR; ABHIRA GETS FIRST CASE AGAINST HER

In the outhouse, Vidya, Manisha, Manoj, and the kids try to convince Abhira to trust Armaan, but Madhav intervenes and says that Abhira should be allowed to decide for herself. Meanwhile, an upset Ruhi speeds away in her car, with Manish following her in an attempt to stop her, however she accidentally hits someone.

As shown in last night's precap episode, Armaan receives a call from Ruhi claiming that someone is fabricating an accident case against her. Shortly after, Abhira receives a call from a woman accusing Ruhi Poddar of being responsible for the accident. This sets the stage for Abhira's first case, raising the question: Will Armaan and Abhira be able to navigate their way out of this challenging situation?
